Quest Rotorua

History in the making - as STAGE of ORIGIN arrives in ROTORUA, fuelling the friendly rivalry between UNION and LEAGUE - as we place our sports heroes on stage.

Be dazzled, as our sporting stars from Rugby and Rugby League, battle it out, to determine which team is wittier and funnier off field and on stage. Leaving their comfort zone, they will take on the ancient arts of - story telling, theatre, dance and music over 8 challenges - improvisation at its best, performed by unlikely characters from our sports fields.

The build up towards the Trans-Tasman challenge - team will be selected, including past and present sport celebrities, to form the first NZ IMPROV Sports team, to battle the Australian equivalent later in the year. The live event is hosted by an MC who explains the challenges to both teams and audience
